Description
While breaking and removing ice from the horses’ water troughs during deep freezes, I became entranced with the play of light and color. Last night’s temperatures, wind and thirsty, late night visitors all helped shape the structure of the ice in artistic collaboration. The fractured dance between light, ice and subject, rather than digital manipulation, forms the worlds reflected and implied. They tell of a journey and transformation along the way. They scream warnings and sweetly murmur promises. They reveal strange creatures and hidden worlds and long-lost secrets.
The adventure continues. Where will it lead you?
Explore beyond the ice!
